We are part of an area that belongs in the Taumutu Rununga. The Ngāti Moko Mārae is our Mārae.
We will be visiting and there are certain protocol or rules we must follow.

There is a process for the pōwhiri:
1. Gather at the gate
2. Call on from tangata te whenua and response
3. Wait to respect the dead
4. Sit for speeches & waitata
5. Giving the koha
6. Hongi
7. Sharing of food
